Window shopping

In Rotterdam there’s always something fun to do. Want to go window shopping? Let my favorite doll take you to the best places in town.

This lovely doll, designed by Erika Harberts of Mikodesign, definitely knows where to shop. Her outfits are high fashion and her home deco skills are extraordinary. For the mini market event at Elle Aime’s shop this past weekend, Erika put together a fine window with all handmade, vintage and collected materials. At Elle Aime you’ll find stationery, art, beautiful interior items and lovely illustrated products.

Everything is so well thought of: from table to closet and from the little linnen bags to the bucket full of wrapping paper. With picture frames, flag line and a camera. And did you see the tiny pencils on te desk? Awesome!

The dolls come in different forms and sizes, for example as a cute rabbit. There’s even a Frida Kahlo doll! And the gigantic home sown wardrobe makes sure she stands out from the crowd at your place, between the other stuffed animals in the house. Are you ready to take her in?

The dolls can be bought as a sowing package, so you can make your own. Something beautiful to be very proud of! Want to sow some more? Just recently Erika designed this light and dark blue fabric which is sold per metre. It’s called ‘Paris’ and to me it feels just like that… Paris in the springtime, lovely and romantic!
